FemME 2018 Battle Applications are open!
30 December 2017Although not all is sorted out we will open the applications for the FemME Battles 2018 in Belgium, Finland, Germany andnthe Netherlands.
The preliminaries will be held in the named countries and are also open for non-National bands. Each preliminary with 5 bands will have 2 winners (by jury decision and by audience voting) who will compete in the 2 semi-finals in the Netherlands. The 2 winners of each semi-final will battle in the Final in Eindhoven amongst the wild card winner for 2 slots at FemME (12-14 October 2018).
The first battle preliminary was already on 1 September 2017 in Malta. The two winners Elysian Gates (LU) and TheGuardian (BE) are already qualified for the semi-finals!
The Belgian Preliminary will take place on 3 March 2018 and will be hosted by media partner Hellzine. Venue is Le Cercle in Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont.
The Finnish Preliminary is hosted on 3 March 2018 by Golden Classics Cafe & Bar in Helsinki.
The German Preliminary is at a familiar place; Pitcher - Rock'n'Roll Headquarter in Düsseldorf on 22 March 2018.
The challenge is the Netherlands Preliminary. We don’t know a date or venue as plans changed a week ago. Anyway, the application will already open.
As soon as the dates are confirmed we will announce them.
